To reconstruct the expression of language, I conducted soundwalks at the same location, but at three different times of the day (morning, noon and night). The sound recording emerges as the cassette tape in musical notation.
早午晚三個時分，我在同一地方進行「聲音漫步」(Soundwalk)，並將使用卡式帶錄音製的聲音以樂譜的形式展現，重構語言的表達方法。

（The strokes of silence - 沉默的筆畫）

The work records the process of me vacuuming the air from a food plastic bag. The Bluetooth speaker, was put in the food vacuum bag, plays the recording of me speaking the strokes of silence (沉默) in Chinese. I gradually emptied the air in the plastic bag. The sound of silence can be clearly heard in the beginning. Though, the sound of the pump and the rubbing sound of the bag slowly became louder. The sound of oppression dominates the audio in tandem the sound of silence slightly fades out and vanishes. The oppression of voice finally leads to the real “silence”. The meaning of 沉默 in Chinese does not only mean silence with no sound but also specifying of people choosing not to talk and stay quiet.
片段記錄了我將空氣從食物真空袋中抽出的過程。食物袋中的的藍芽喇叭播放著我朗讀「沉默」二字的筆畫的錄音。朗讀聲原本能夠清晰地被聽見，可是，當我用氣泵逐少的把真空袋的空氣抽出，朗讀聲被外在的壓迫而漸漸消減。外在的壓迫最終導致真正的「沉默」。沉默在中文詞義中，除了有沒有聲音的意思，還有形象人們選擇不說話的狀態。

I am looking for a new way to listen to the soundscape of a normal Hong Kong park. While I slowed down the tracks, I have found that the grains and mechanical sounds provide me an alternative perspective to experience the sonic environment of the park.
當我將在公園錄製的聲音放慢時，聲音中的噪粒和機械化的聲音塑造一個新的方法去聆聽公園的另一種聲音。
